ANAT LEBOW, MD
Dr. Lebow specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology for women, men and children of all ages. She is a board certified dermatologist who graduated cum laude from Boston University School of Medicine, during which time she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She continued her training in internal medicine at the University of Chicago Hospitals before completing her Dermatology Residency at Montefiore Medical Center of Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York.After residency she joined the faculty of New York University School of Medicine where she is Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology.
Her area of expertise encompasses skin cancer, moles, precancerous lesions, acne, psoriasis, eczema/skin rashes, contact dermatitis, warts and other disorders of the hair and nails. She is an expert in skin cancer diagnosis, excision and treatment.
She also specializes in facial rejuvenation and anti-aging regimens, using a broad array of facial fillers and neurotoxins such as Botox as well as laser therapy for facial rejuvenation and resurfacing, acne scarring, blood vessel removal, removal of brown spots, sun spots and laser hair removal. She performs cosmetic removal of moles, skin tags/other growths, cyst removal, xanthelasma removal as well as the non-surgical nose job. She also performs sclerotherapy for removal of spider veins of the lower extremities.
She will tailor a skin care regimen for rejuvenation and anti-aging to meet your individual specific skin care needs.
INVOLVEMENT
Dr. Lebow is actively involved in academics and community service. She teaches residents as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at NYU Langone Medical Center. She frequently participates in skin cancer screenings in the Greater New York Area and is an active member of numerous medical societies including a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, American Contact Dermatitis Society, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York.
